The Vineyard at Chateau Leamon was established in
1973 on the northern slopes of Big Hill close to the goldfields city
of Bendigo, Victoria, Australia.
Chateau Leamon produced its
first wine in 1977 and quickly established an enviable reputation
for producing premium wines which have won many awards and received critical acclaim.
Winemaker, Ian Leamon has maintained a consistently high standard of
winemaking through the 1980's 90's and the new century, producing intensely full
flavoured Shiraz, Cabernet Merlot and Semillon from their Big Hill
vineyard.
In addition to our Bendigo range of wines, we also source a small
quantity of outstanding Riesling from the Strathbogie Ranges.
